4.15 Power Supply
4.15.1 External Power to Instrument
Supply Voltage: 8 – 24 V DC, ripple voltage < 20 mV
Current requirement: min. 1.5 amp.
Power consumption: < 2.5 Watt
Connector (at cable): Lemo type FFA.00, positive at center pin.
4.15.2 External AC Main Supply Adapter

4.15.5 Battery Lifetime
Typically: > 8 hours. However, if the instrument is used in low temperatures or there is extensive use
of the display backlight, this may reduce the time.
Battery Indicator: Remaining battery capacity may be read out in % or in time.
Battery Fuel Gauge: The battery is equipped with a built-in fuel gauge, which continuously measures
and stores the actual battery capacity.
Charge time: In instrument, 7 hours from empty. With external charger ZG 0444 (optional accessory),
5 hours.
Note: It is not recommended to charge the battery at temperatures below 0ºC or over 50ºC (32ºF to
122ºF). Doing this will reduce the battery lifetime.
4.16 Warm-up Time
Warm-up time: < 1 minute after reaching equilibrium with the ambient environment and switching on
power.
4.17 Real-time Clock
Nominal drift: < 12 seconds over a 24-hour period
