Getting to Know Your Analyzer

Instantaneous Measured Parameters

If you measure the acceleration signal from an Accelerometer, then the most common used

parameters are:

Timed Measured Parameters

• Maximum Time-weighted parameters (example: Fast max)

• Minimum Time-weighted parameters (example: Slow min)

• GPS data (requires a GPS device connected)

Instantaneous Measured Parameters

• Instantaneous GPS data (requires a GPS device connected)

The acceleration parameters can be displayed in either Engineering units (m/s

) or in dB.

4.2.2 Frequency Analysis Software Module BZ-7223

This software module allows real-time frequency measurements in 1/1- and 1/3-octave bands,

making it a simple matter to, for example, select suitable hearing protection, qualify noise from

heat and ventilation systems and assess tonality.
